Gratitude Project: September 2015

September 2015 Gratitude Project

It’s been a little while since the last time I shared any of my artwork from my Gratitude Project with all of you. In spite of my fine art projects, I still seem to find time and have a desire to go out with my camera and document the things that move me! Especially on my bad days, going out and creating helps lift me up and remind me of how small I am in such a big wide world!

Some days it’s as simple as documenting the random little things in or around my home. Sometimes its the flowers on my kitchen table. Sometimes its the way the light hits the grass outside. Or maybe it’s just he big wide sky. Other days I’ll drive down the road to the lake and photograph things the water lapping up to the shoreline. Or the open fields down the road. And some nights – its the amazing night skies that you get to enjoy out in the country.

There are moments that I simply cannot capture and fully document the gorgeousness of the beautiful sunsets that God creates! Sometimes the images I capture pale in comparison to what I see before me. And when I see these things and watch myself become like a child in my ability to really create as He does… I am reminded of how small and insignificant I am. And how lucky I am to have a creator who is bigger and greater than me.

So here’s a little peek at this segment of the Gratitude Project. Enjoy!
