Where I live, it’s really easy to tell when spring has arrived. Usually we start getting tons of rain… check! I couldn’t even tell you how much rain we’ve had over the past week. I know it’s enough that we’ve had water in our basement the past few days (something we dread every spring…). This is the time of year that things begin to grow, and living where there are fields nearby, we get to watch as the corn and beans grow every year. Looks like we’re going to be looking at cornfields again this year 
We also get tons of dandelions every spring. the hubby really can’t stand them, but I ‘m kind of indifferent to them. The past two years we tried a ton of different weed killers in an attempt to eliminate them from the yard… particular the gravel portion of our driveway, but none of them worked. I guess the dandelions have won because they’ve really taken over our yard this year.
I was also rather excited to find this beautiful flower growing along the side of the house. I didn’t plant these, but I look forward to catching a glimpse of them every year. I thought it looked pretty from the side…
But the view from above was just as stunning, if not more so!
