Amber called me last month and told me she wanted to do a mother’s day session to get some gift products for herself and the kids grandmothers. (How sweet is that?) So we headed out to Spitler and took a few quick shots of two of the cutest little kiddos I know. I really don’t think I need to say much more… I’ll let these images speak for themselves

I’m so excited to finally get to share these adorable little girls with you! I met Lily, Emma, and Chloe for the first time when they arrived at the studio for their session a couple weeks ago. Their mom was the winner of our session and print prize at the LSA Auction this year. I knew the minute these three walked in we were going to have fun! So much energy and so much to share! And quite the group of little princesses! They all did so well for their session and even showed me how they wanted to pose for their pictures! I think we’ve got three models in the making right here!

I was so excited when we finally got Angel’s six year old session on the calendar! I love taking pictures of this little girl! You may remember I took pictures of her three year old little brother, Charlie, earlier this year. While Charlie is ornery and hides from my camera and makes it a challenge – Angel is so good that we get everything we need within the first 15 minutes of her session. Everything we shoot after that is just for fun because she loves modeling for me

It’s hard to believe that this little sweetie is six already! Time sure flies by! But she certainly looks very grown up with her new short haircut, dangly earrings, and pretty tinsel in her hair. I hope you enjoy peeking through Miss Angelynn’s Six Year Old Session!

Angie and I had been messaging each other back and forth for about a month working out the details on Kyler’s One Year Old Session. So I was really excited when the day rolled around to meet this handsome little man and capture his absolute adorableness!

This little guy was cracking me up! He was actually fighting smiling! For a one year old – he already knows what he does and doesn’t want. And on this particular day, Kyler didn’t want to smile for my camera. It was too funny ! We’d get these cute little half smiles because he was trying to keep from actually smiling. I did manage to sneak a couple pictures of his precious full smile in there too! And of course, since everyone was together – why not go ahead and get some family photos too!

I was super excited when Tiffany emailed me about scheduling little Everett’s One Year Old session! I hadn’t taken pictures of this handsome little man since he was just 10 days old, so needless to say, I couldn’t wait to be capture this little guy for his next big milestone!  We had little E’s session at the studio which was perfect for this little guy to crawl around and it gave us a nice clean backdrop for his images! Mom and dad brought some fun toys with them that we used to keep E entertained and they actually worked perfectly with his outfits!

Since it’s the day after Valentine’s Day, I thought this was the perfect day to share with you the pictures from our Tutus & Bow Ties Mini Session. I didn’t quite get the boom of customers I was hoping for… Actually I only had one taker for our first mini session. But I was thrilled to have the Goonan boys in the studio again for some fun Valentine’s Day photos. I love these kids a ton! They are so much fun and they have some pretty awesome parent’s too!

We did the mini session in the studio with all three boys. We did our best to get pictures of each of the boys individually and then at least one good one of the three of them together. I’ll admit it was a bit of challenge getting the group shot. A couple of the little guys were hungry and not in the mood to have their pictures taken. (I know exactly how they felt! I’m not partial to having my picture taken either and I definitely get crabby when I’m hungry. hehe) But we had fun playing around and shooting away.

I was super excited to do Charlie’s Three Year Old session! I’ve been taking pictures of this little guy since he turned a year old, and I look forward to doing his pictures every year! It was a little bit chilly out (but warmer than you’d expect for February) when we decided to venture out to Fort Daniel’s park for Charlie’s session. Charlie’s momma, Amber, brought along some of his toy guns and we went “hunting” for his Papa Jay out in the woods.

Three is that fun age in kids when they start developing their own opinions and “no” is often their favorite word. So today Charlie’s opinion was that he did NOT want his picture taken. And he was very serious about finding Papa Jay wherever he was hiding. Amber and I got shushed many times by this little guy for talking too loud when we were trying to sneak up on the elusive grandpa Charlie couldn’t seem to find.

I was so excited to be taking pictures of miss Elayna for her third birthday! The last time I took pictures of this sweet little gal was when she was turning one, and boy has she grown up! She’s got her own ideas and opinions and she absolutely loves shoes and the color pink!

We had some fun getting her to warm up. She was a little shy of me and my camera. Plus, she knew her brothers were in the room next door playing with some toys and she’s used to being in the middle of the action with her siblings. After a few minutes snuggling with mom, Grandma Donna flipping her upside down for some fun smiley pics, and a quick costume change. Elayna was all smiles and fun!

I was so thrilled to be able to take some family photos for my clients and dear friends, Meg and Joe Sluder. You may remember them from their wedding I photographed back in June of 2010. This is definitely a part of my job I adore… being able to document the stages of people’s lives.

Meg and Joe are so easy to work with! They are such genuine, kind and open people! And the love between these two is just amazing! I knew two years ago that Meg and Joe would be awesome parents and they are only proving me right. They are so happy with their baby girl, Kinley, and you can just see the joy they feel towards their sweet little angel!

I was super excited to be taking their photos in the newly remodeled studio. We actually got to use the hardwood floors in the pictures, and I couldn’t have asked for a better group to test out the new space on!

The Sluder’s are such a gorgeous family – inside and out. I’ll admit I hope to one day have as sweet and perfect a family as these two have made! So meet my friends: Meg, Joe, and Kinley!
