I was so so SO excited when Staci contacted me to tell me that sweet baby Graham was here and they were ready for photos! I always tell my mommies and daddies to call me and schedule their session within the first week of baby’s arrival! The sooner we get photos the easier time I have get those sweet sleepy baby images. Well little Mr. Graham was not at all interested in sleeping! So we actually got a lot of wide awake eyes open images of the handsome little man before we finally coaxed him into sleep.

This little guy is so stinkin’ cute! Although I shouldn’t be surprised with such sweet and good looking parents like Staci and Corey. This little family is so sweet and you can see how in tune Staci and Corey are with each other and how much they love caring for their little guy! It was a real honor getting to take pictures for this family and to document little Graham Quinn in his first week of life. Enjoy!

I’ve had these pictures on my computer for a while now and I just had to share them with you today!

Lane called me and asked about getting some 4 month old photos done for Brayden. Of course – I was giddy to do his 4 month photos – I find it so much fun to take pictures through all the stages of your little ones life! It’s just so much fun to see how much they change and grow! And boy has Brayden grown.

He’s got such a cute little smile and that perfect little baby chubbiness to him! He’s precious! Lane wanted to get some pictures of him in his puppy dog Halloween costume and of course we had to do some diaper only photos because little Mr. Brayden is a much happier camper when he’s clothes free.

So here he is! Four month old Brayden!

I was so excited when Chelsea email me about doing Asher’s newborn photos. One of my awesome clients purchased a gift certificate for this sweet couple to get newborn photos of their beautiful baby boy – so I had been looking forward to scheduling the session.

As is common for my newborn sessions I met Chelsea and Alan at their lovely home and was introduced to the handsome little man. After some coaxing and a little patience we got him comfortable and were able to get some pretty adorable pictures of this perfect little being.

I was so excited to meet Jill and Jason at the beginning of the month to take pictures of their new sweet Harper Nicole. Jill contacted me around 2 months before she was due to get everything figured out for the newborn session – so needless to say – I was so excited to finally meet the beautiful girl I had been emailing back and forth with.

Newborn sessions are always fun because you never know what the sweet little one is going to be up to. Sometimes I come into a session and the baby sleeps the whole time. Other babies are wide awake and wanting to know what’s going on. Little Harper was definitely the wide awake type. She thinks she’s a big girl already! Trying to pick up her head, making lots of little cooing noises, etc. So for the first little bit of the session I didn’t get any of my favorite sleepy baby pictures, but I did get some cute wide awake baby photos and some images of the gorgeous little family.

Once Harper finally fell asleep – Jill and I had fun getting pictures of the little miss in all her cute little tutus and outfits and couple in her birthday suit. Okay enough of my chatting – enjoy the pictures of this absolutely beautiful baby girl!

I was so excited when Jill called me to tell me that the Keitel’s sweet little angel had finally arrived! Miss Abigail Grace weighed in at 7 lbs. when she was born on September 23rd in St. Louis and she is absolutely perfect. I was thrilled to meet this little baby in person, hold her, and pose her. She is just the sweetest thing!

We took a few pictures outside, but fall has officially set in and it was a tad too cold for sweet baby Abigail. You’ll notice one of the pictures below, momma’s hands are warming her up.

So we took most of the photos inside Jill and Greg’s house. I love doing newborn sessions at the family’s home. That way – you’ve got everything you need right there – pacifiers, bottles, blankets, etc. And then you’re photos are infused with your own things. We got some super cute images of this little sweetie! Enjoy!

I got some really cute close-ups of this sweet baby’s fingers, toes, eyes, and nose and so I put together this collage for Jill and Greg. I think it sums up what I see in Abigail’s parents’ eyes when they are looking at their little girl.

Meet Jillian and Greg, who are expected their first child – a sweet baby girl – very soon now! I was so excited to meet them. They came all the way from Effingham for their session, and met me at Rock Springs Park. Jill had sounded so sweet and sincere on the phone and I knew I was going to enjoy their company. They are probably one of the sweetest couples I’ve worked with this year. So friendly and easy to converse with. You can just see how excited (and a little nervous) they are to meet their little dear. I just know they are going to be a couple of awesome parents!

I arrived at the Ryan’s house bright and early last Saturday morning. I was so excited to be taking pictures of Stephanie and Jay’s little girl, Charlee, for her 3 month old pics. It still astounds me that this little girl is three months old already, but she certainly is and she’s growing up so fast!

Three and fourth month olds are fun! This is the time when they start getting expressive. I’m always curious to see how these little ones will respond to me since this is often their first time interacting with me. I was pleasantly surprised though that Charlee smiled at me right away. Baby smiles are so sweet – they just give you the warm fuzzies.

Stephanie picked out several outfits and we posed her a few different ways since the little dear is still a bit too little to support herself yet. But I had fun seeing her in all her cute little clothes and trying to capture the many faces of Charlee. Here’s a sneak peek of some of the pics we got.

This is one of my favorites! I just love her little face and the start of a smile. And that pink  bow! Too cute!

I had to sneak this picture in too.  Stephanie is holding up a picture of little Miss Charlee’s daddy…. They do look a lot alike, don’t you think?

Okay – my other favorite right here! I was so excited when her daddy got her to smile like this and even happier when I managed to get the shot! Look at that happy little face! Doesn’t it just make you smile?

By this point, the poor dear was getting tired and hungry. And since we got all her outfits done and some pretty good expressions we decided to let her take a break. But not before I got a yawning pic. I love baby yawns!

I wanted to add this image in too! I haven’t got to do very many 3 or 4 month old photos, but this is what I like doing when I get to take pictures of these little dears. We’ll try to capture an assortment of expressions out of your little angel and put them together in one nice Nine Up board. These are great for keepsakes, cards, and look especially amazing as a big wall portrait.

I was super excited when Rekka & Chondra asked me to take pictures of their new little man. Their little guy was very tiny at only 5 lbs. and so incredibly cute! He wasn’t particularly fond of my studio because he cried and cried, but once we got him outside – he calmed right down.

It was so nice chatting with his parents and learning a little about their culture. For example, all their names mean something – Vishwas name means “faith” or “belief.” They also don’t have a baby shower because their religion doesn’t believe in buying things for the baby before he or she is born.

They are such a sweet little family and I’m sorry to see them moving up to Peoria. But I wish them a safe journey and a happy life up north.
